About

Learner Assist is a learning support business that offers private individual specialist tuition and standardised assessment for Primary-aged and Middle Years students with specific learning difficulties, or who are underachieving in literacy and / or numeracy at school.  Specialist advice for parents and communication with schools and teachers are both offered as extra forms of support.

No diagnosis or referral is necessary to access Learner Assist services.

Programs

Learner Assist promotes the use of evidence-based teaching practices; the explicit, sequentially structured teaching of synthetic phonics (Sounds Write trained and certified) and MSL (multi-sensory structured language education).

The teaching methodologies and approaches used are highly suited to students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ASD and ADHD.
